Vintage School bag

Zoals jullie in mijn vorige post al konden lezen ben ik dol op vintage! Deze tas vond ik op de Tongerse vlooienmarkt en ik werd er meteen stapelverliefd op. Voor 35 euro (echt leer! :D) was hij van mij en ik denk erover om hem effectief als schooltas te gebruiken.

As you could all read in my previous post, I love vintage! I found this bag at the flea market I talked about and immediately fell in love with it. For only 35 euros (real leather... bargain!) it was mine and I'm seriousely thinking about using it as my school bag next semester.

The sun goes down, the stars come out

Aloha! Vandaag was het ein-de-lijk nog eens écht lenteweer.
Ik word echt zo blij van de zon! Outfitfoto's maken was dus vandaag echt fun!
Ik merk wel dat ik nog wat moet oefenen op het scherpstellen wanneer ik met mijn statief werk... achja :)

I do notice that I still have to work on focusing when I'm taking pictures with my tripod, but oh well.... :)

When in Doubt, just add glitter

Bonjour mes amis! Vandaag was ik in een fleurige bui en besloot ik dus maar parisiennegewijs een simpele outfit op te leuken met één dikke vette eyecatcher! Dit glitterjasje van H&M zag ik voor het eerst bij AnnaSophia Robb. Ze droeg het op een H&M event en bleek het ook gewoon bij de H&M hebben gekocht (of gekregen, you never know with celebs, right). Als grote fan van ... H&M, The Carrie Diaries, AnnaSophia's stijl, glitters, blazers én pailletten MOEST ik het dus wel kopen.
De foto's van deze post zijn allemaal gemaakt door mijn broer, met een leuk muziekje op en dus stonden we de hele tijd te dansen en gek te doen, vandaar de soms vreemde poses en lichtjes ongefocuste (zeg je dat zo?) foto's. Achja, is wel lekker spontaan natuurlijk ;).

Bonjour mes amis! Today I was in a happy mood so I decided to spice up a simple outfit with a big fat eyecatcher, very Parisienne-ish! I first spotted this sparkly H&M jacket on AnnaSophia Robb. She wore it on a H&M event and turned out to just have bought it at H&M as well (or maybe it was gifted to her, makes more sense I guess. Sigh, the though life of a celeb...)! As a huge fan of  H&M, The Carrie Diaries, AnnaSophia's style, glitters, blazers and sequins, I just HAD to buy it.
All of the pictures below are made by my brother. We were constantly dancing and having fun, which is why there might me some odd poses and slightly unfocused . Well at least it's spontaneous, right? :).

Hey Ho, Let's Go!

Hallo daar! Hoe positief ik in mijn vorige post was over het weer, zo negatief ben ik in deze post.
Ik ben echt het type persoon wiens humeur samenhangt met het weer.
Zon = Vrolijke, lachende, sociale Evi
Regen = Grumpy, Irritante, depressieve Evi
Maar vandaag wilde ik het weer te slim af zijn en koos dus voor mijn flashygele broek.
Als moeder natuur het niet wil doen, zorg ik zelf wel voor een oppepper!


Hello there! As positive as I may have been about the weather in my last post, It didn't turn out to last.
I really am the kind of person whose mood is directly related to the weather.
Sun = Happy, smiling, social Evi
Rain = Grumpy, annoying, depressed Evi
But today I wanted to take matters into my own hands and wore my yellow trousers.
If mother nature refuses to do it, I'll take care of my own mood boost!

Deze foto ziet er extreem geposeerd uit, maar dat is hij eigenlijk niet! Mijn mama belde me net in het midden van mijn mini-fotosessie en ik vond het uiteindelijk wel een grappige foto.

Wat een heerlijk weertje is het toch vandaag!!
Het is nog nét wat te frisjes voor blote benen dus haalde ik deze superleuke stippenpanty van de Primark maar eens uit de kast.
Ik ben best wel tevreden met deze outfit. Het gele rokje maakt het lekker zomers en wie houdt daar nu niet van? ;)

What a lovely weather today!!
It was a still a little bit too chilly to show off my legs though, which is why I decided to wear my polkadot-panty from Primark.
I am quite happy with this outfit. The yellow skirt makes it all summery and who doesn't love summer, right? ;)

Discovery ; Reynders- Daenen

Hallo iedereen! Vandaag slechts een korte update wegens het acute tijdsgebrek (ik ben aan het verhuizen, YAY!). Maar ik wilde jullie dit toch even laten zien. Enkele dagen geleden had mijn broer nieuwe schoenen nodig (dit gebeurt echt veel te vaak, geen idee wat hij er precies mee doet, maar na een week zien ze er al niet meer uit). Aangezien ik toch niets anders te doen had besloot ik mee te gaan. De winkel waar hij meestal zijn schoenen haalt is slechts enkele minuten van mijn huis vandaan, maar toch was ik er al jaren niet meer geweest. Ik denk niet dat ik ooit al verbaasder en meer blij verrast geweest ben dan toen ik naar binnen ging.
Wat een overvloed aan schoenen in alle kleuren, maten, modellen... fantastisch gewoon! Zelf had ik ook mijn oog laten vallen op een paar leuke laarsjes die ze helaas niet meer in mijn maat hadden.

De bruine! Zo mooi! In het echt zelfs nog mooier dan op de foto.

Helemaal depressief was ik toen ik met lege handen naar huis moest, maar na wat gegoogle kwam ik tot de vaststelling dat ze een webshop hebben!  Misschien de laarsjes (die daarop wel beschikbaar zijn in mijn maat!) alsnog bestellen... Wat denken jullie?

Zara Office City Bag

Oké, ik heb jullie allemaal in spanning laten wachten, maar het is eindelijk zo ver! Zoals jullie gisteren al konden zien in mijn haul, kocht ik een tas bij Zara. En dat is niet zomaar een tas , het is de Zara Office City Bag. Deze tas zag ik voor het eerst in een video van Zoe a.k.a Zoella en toen ik hem zag wist ik meteen dat ik hem wou hebben. Na een lange zoektocht in verschillende steden en landen zag ik hem dan eindelijk in de Zara in Berlijn. Ik twijfelde geen seconde en nam hem mee naar huis.

Allright, so I have been letting you wait for this, but the time has finally come! As You could all see in my haul yesterday, I bought a bag at Zara. And oh no, not just a bag! It's the Zara Office City Bag. I saw this bag for the first time in one of Zoe (Zoella)'s videos and instantly fell in love with it. After searching in several cities and countries, I finally saw it in a Zara in Berlin and immediately took it home with me.

 Het prachtige design is niet de enige reden waarom ik deze tas zo leuk vind. Hij is gewoon ongelofelijk praktisch! Er zitten namelijk 6(!) compartementen in, waaronder één gewatteerd 'vak' voor je laptop, één voor je iPad en ruimte voor je iPhone (of andere telefoon uiteraard) en kaartjes (visitekaartjes of bankkaarten...). Mulitifunctioneel!

The gorgeous design is not the only reason I got this bag. It is just unbelievably handy! There are (6!) compartements in there including a padded laptop and iPad compartement and a seperate compartement for your phone and (business)cards. Multifunctional!

Ik vind het ook heel erg leuk dat de "ZB" (Zara Bags) is gegraveerd in de ritssluiting, Mooi!!

I absolutely love the fact that the "ZB" (Zara Bags) is engraved in the zipper. Pretty!!

Haul ; Berlin

Hoi allemaal, vandaag laat ik jullie, zoals beloofd, zien wat ik heb gekocht in Berlijn.
Berlijn is niet bekend om zijn shopgelegenheden, maar als je een beetje uitkijkt, kom je wel hele leuke winkeltjes tegen. En ook ik kon -uiteraard- niet aan de verleiding weerstaan om enkele leuke dingen te kopen.

Berlin is not know for its shoppingoccasions, but if you just look out a little, you might stumble upon some cute little shops. And of course, I couldn't resist buying some things.

Dit is een overzichtje van alles wat ik heb gekocht. Valt nog best mee, toch?

Deze twee zonnebrillen heb ik beide gekocht om de leuke, ronde vorm. de bovenste met het dikkere montuur kocht ik bij H&M (voor ongeveer 5 euro). De onderste (die me erg doet denken aan John Lennon), komt van de New Yorker (3,50euro).

I bought both of these amazing sunglasses because of the cute, round shape. The one at the top is from H&M, the bottom one  (which reminds me of John Lennon), is from New Yorker.

Deze armbandjes vind ik allemaal geweldig!!  Van links naar rechts : H&M - New Yorker - New Yorker - H&M - New Yorker (alemaal tussen de 2 en de 6 euro).
I absolutely LOVE every single one of these bracelets!!  From left to right :  H&M - New Yorker - New Yorker - H&M - New Yorker.

Dit is een dupe voor de sephora nagellakremover (die waar je je vinger moet insteken ). Maar dan voor slechts een fractie van de prijs (3,50 ongeveer), koopje!

This is a dupe for the Sephora nailpolishremover (the one you have to stick your finger in). But this is a much cheaper version, BARGAIN!

 Deze kwasten zag ik liggen in de "DM" ( zo ongeveer de kruidvat van Duitsland) ze waren helemaal niet duur (tussen de 2 en de 4 euro per kwast) en echt superzacht. Het proberen waard dus.

I saw these brushes at "DM" (which is like Boots or Ulta) they were not expensive at all but they were supersoft. Worth a try.

Dit leuke shortje zag ik liggen in een winkel die Ann Christine heet. Shorts + Aztek = want! (25 euro)

Zoals jullie op de eerste foto konden zien, kocht ik ook een handtas. Dit is de Zara Office City bag en die vind ik té leuk om gewoon in een haul te vermelden. Daarom krijgt hij morgen een eigen, uitgebreide post.

As you can see in the first picture, I also bought a handbag. This is the Zara Office City Bag which I loved too much to just mention in a Haul. That's why I'm going to dedicate an entire post to it tomorrow.

H&M Spring Wishlist

Ik ben een klein beetje H&M-verslaafd. ik kàn gewoon niet langs een H&M lopen zonder er binnen te gaan en ik vind er altijd wel iets dat "nog ontbrak in mijn kast" of "echt geweldig zou staan op die ene broek". Zo liep ik ook gisteren weer vertrouwde H&M binnen en zag daar een hoop leuke dingen die meteen op mijn wishlist komen!!!!!

I am slightly obsessed with H&M. I just never manage to pass an H&M without going in. I just can't! Also, when I'm in H&M , I always see something that "was missing in my closet" or "would look amazing paired with that certain pair of jeans". Yesterday , I went to my personal heaven and saw some amazing things that went straight to my wishlist!!!!!!

Als je deze post leest heb ik dit shirt waarschijnlijk al gekocht, ik ga morgen namelijk even snel naar de H&M met een vriendin, enkel en alleen om deze blouse te kopen. Ik werd er meteen verliefd op toen ik hem zag en als ze hem niet meer in mijn maat hebben, ga ik echt huilen.

When you are reading this post, I have probably already bought this shirt. Tomorrow  I'm going to H&M with a friend, JUST to buy this blouse. I fell in love with it the second I saw it and if my size is sold out, I swear I'm going to cry.

Ik zit met een enorm dilemma: ik weet niet welke van deze twee broeken ik ga kopen!!!!! Ik vind ze allebei erg leuk en beide kleuren zijn geweldig voor winter én lente... zucht, keuzestress!

I am stuck with a massive dilemma: I don't know which one of these trousers I should buy!!!! I like both of them and both colours are amazing for winter AND spring....sigh, Can't choose!!!!!!!

Ook deze broek is een item dat ik sowieso ga kopen. Ik zoek al jaren naar een mooie "distressed" broek,maar de meeste broeken in dat genre zijn té baggy en dat is niet erg flattueus, maar deze is lekker skinny. PERFECT

This is another item I am definetely going to buy. I have been looking for a pair of distressed jeans for years, but most pairs in that range are just too baggy, which is not very flattering? But this pair is very skinny. PERFECT

Dit is een jasje dat ik ook zeer leuk vind, maar waarschijnlijk aan mijn neus voorbij zal laten gaan aangezien ik al een soortgelijk jasje heb...jammer!

This is a jacket that I really like, But I don't think I'll buy it since I have already got a jacket in this style...Too bad!

Dit jurkje ziet er heel mooi uit op de foto, maar is echt zo'n "je moet het passen" jurkje. Bij sommige mensen staat het waarschijnlijk heel leuk, bij anderen niet...hope for the best!

This dress looks beautiful on the model, but it really is the kind of dress you have to try on to see if it suits you...let's hope for the best!!
