Lush(ious)!!

Lush Lush Lush, wat ben je toch geweldig!
Ik denk niet dat ik de enige ben die niet langs Lush kan lopen zonder er binnen te gaan.
Zo bracht ik ook laatst weer met Paulien (mijn beste vriendin en trouwste fan ;)) een bezoekje aan de Maastrichtse Lush en ging niet met lege handen weer naar buiten.
Paulien, die net zoveel van mode en beauty houdt als ik stond erop om de tea tree water spray te kopen. Ik kende hem niet, maar aangezien zij er extreem enthousiast over was heb ik hem ook aangeschaft!
Ook het andere product dat ik kocht, Mask of Magnaminty was op aanraden van Paulien. Ik heb nog niet de kans gehad om ze voor 100% uit te testen, maar zodra ik dat wel heb gedaan, horen jullie het wel ;).

I don't think I am the only one who can't walk past a Lush store without going in.
That's why a little while ago, I went into a Lush store with Paulien (The friend who also dyed my hair a few weeks ago). She was raving about two products: Mask of Magnaminty and the Tea Tree Water. She was extremely enthousiastic about them, which is why I could not leave them there ;). I didn't have time to fully try them yet, but as soon as I do, you'll notice on my blog.

You are never fully dressed without perfume!

Ik ben geobsedeerd door lekkere geuren. Dat is een algemene waarheid en ik ga dan ook niet vaak zonder een (subtiel) luchtje op de deur uit.
Ik heb veel parfums, maar mijn absolute favoriet is toch wel 'Miss Dior'.
Deze geur ontdekte ik jaren geleden al door een sample in een tijdschrift en ik werd er meteen verliefd op. Nu zijn we toch al een jaar of 4 verder en ik kan er nog steeds geen genoeg van krijgen. Dit is al mijn zesde(!) flesje!

I am obsessed with nice scents. That's just something you have to know about me. I hardly ever leave the house without a (subtle) hint of perfume.
I do have got quite a perfume collection, but my all time favourite is and will always be 'Miss Dior'.
I discovered this scent a long time ago through a sample in a magazine and I'm in love ever since.
This is already my sixth (!) bottle!!

M.A.C Love Thing

Hoi allemaal!! Gisteren heb ik een nieuwe mijlpaal in mijn leven bereikt . Ik kocht namelijk mijn aller aller àller eerste Mac-product. Ik ging met een vriendin naar Maastricht in de hoop nog iets te kunnen scoren bij Sephora, maar die bleek al gesloten te zijn. Gelukkig was MAC er om me een beetje te troosten. Ik twijfelde tussen een mooie oogschaduw en een blush, maar ik ben uiteindelijk voor de blush gegaan.
Toen ik ging afrekenen gaf de man aan de kassa me een compliment over mijn eyeliner. Magisch moment :).

Hello there! I finally bought my very first MACproduct. i was not sure whether to take a blush or a gorgeous eyeshadow, but decided to go for the blush since I will probably get more use out of that.
Fun little fact: The man behind the till complemented me about my eyeliner! magical feeling that was!

De blush die ik kocht heet "Love Thing" en is echt zo onwaarschijnlijk mooi! Het is een dieprood/roze kleur, met subtiele gouden glitters erin. Dit is echt zo'n geweldige aanwinst voor mijn makeup stash!

The Blush I bought is called "Love Thing" and is so damn gorgeous! Ithas a really deep red/ pink colour with subtile gold glitters in it. This really is such an amazing addition to my makeup stash!

Jep, je ziet het goed, mijn blonde lokken zijn helemaal verdwenen! Ik vond blond wel leuk, maar die vreselijke uitgroei bijwerken was ik gewoon beu. Terug naar mijn natuurlijke, donkerbruine haarkleur dus. Ik maakte een tripje naar Kruidvat, kocht twee pakjes syoss haarverf en liet een vriendin mijn haar verven.

So as you can see, my blonde hair has completely disappeared! I liked the colour though, but always having to fix my roots started to bug me after a while. Which is why I decided to go back to my own dark brown colour. I went to my local drugstore to pick up some syoss hairdye and let my friend dye my hair.

Nivea lip butter

Yaaaay! Another Lip Product I'm loving!! Yesterday , I wrote about the h&m lipbalm from the latest collection , and today I will share another one of my current loves with the world ;)

The Nivea Lip Butter comes in a cute little tin , the same kind of tin the regular nivea blue-pot cream comes in, Basic , but nice ;) I do prefer sticks , though, since you always have to use your (dirty) fingers in tins like these.

The lip Butter smells like vanilla , which I love!!!!!! I can't stop smelling it ! 

But the most important question is of course : "Does it work?".

Well, it DOES! it is absolutely awesome!!!! it leaves my lips superdupersoft throughout the entire day!!!

Oh my oh my ! I love Lipbalms , and I discovered an amazing new one!!!!!

This chubby H&M lipbalm does everything a lip balm should do , it's very moisturizing and not too sticky . Your lips will stay soft as silk for hours !!!!!!!

handcream for chapped lips?

Ik heb een absoluut wondermiddel ontdekt!! Handcrème ! Ik hoor je denken "ja, tuurlijk, lekker boeiend" maar ik gebruik handcrème zowel op mijn handen als op mijn LIPPEN. Handcrème is extreem voedend en dus perfect voor "kapotte" lippen . Het heeft misschien niet zo'n leuk kleurtje/geurtje/smaakje als een lippenbalsem, maar het werkt! Probeer het maar eens als je me niet gelooft. Ik kan niet meer zonder.

I discovered an amazing product : handcreme ! I know it may sound slightly stupid, but I use handcream on my hands and on my LIPS! Handcreme is extremely moisturizing which makes it perfect for chapped lips. It may not have an amazing colour, scent , flavour as a regular lipbalm, but it WORKS! Try it if you don't believe me! I wouldn't know what to do without it anymore!

I Love studs , I adore them . These days I want everything studded , I bought some studs to customize some of my clothes and decided to share some studs - inspiration with you guys ;)

Sooooo, Today I went shopping with Yena ( who is one of my best friends and also a nail polish junkie :p) and I bought some beauty products :D


The first thing I bought was something I had been wanting for a loooooong time : magnetic nail polish , review is coming up!

Then I bought three lipsticks , one from Catrice and two from Park Avenue, wich is a brand that I'm not really familiar with, so I descided to try it out. ;)

At the drugstore, they had a discount on handsanitizers and since I sanitize my hands probably over 20 times a day (No kidding, I alwas go a little freaky on handsanitizers)

I love braids , the Lauren Conrad side braid has saved me from a bad hair day once, but I kept doing it afterwards because I liked it so much, now I discovered a new kind of braid, the fishtailbraid! Some inspiration :

Armcuffs, earcuffs and haircuffs.And even though it's not really everyones cup of tea, ever since I saw it on some blogs , I wanted one.They can really spice up a simple ponytail ( and I work as a waitress , wich means that my hair is up in a ponytail A LOT, and ponytails get boring ;p) I have searched through every webshop I know, but never found a Cuff I liked... Until today! I found this gorgeous Cuff at H&M Leuven

I have to admit: I am a nailpolish JUNKIE! I buy at least 2 nailpolishes every week (wich I will have to reduce, my wallet doesn't really like it). You can imagine how amazed I was when I saw the Essie Luxeffects. The luxeffects are -as you can tell by the name- nailpolishes with beautiful effects (like glitter) on them. Even though I am on a budget, I think I am going to buy some of them, they are just waaaaaaayyy to pretty to ignore.

Wonderland Diary

Well , my fellow Blog-readers, as you can tell (hopefully, otherwise you should go see a doctor) this post is in English.That's because I just can't descide wich language I like better, Dutch or English. Everytime I write in English, some Flemish or Dutch people mail me to say that they like it better in Dutch and when I do write in Dutch, English speaking people mail me that they don't understand what I write. So I descided to write in whatever Language I want, wich may change overtime, so don't be shocked if you see a polish post next week (no, just kidding, I don't speak polish). But since I do speak English...

well, off to something else now:
I am in Full exams these days and it's HORRIBLE! I don't really like school (wich is an understatement) and I truly hate exams.

BUT! the fact that I have exams also means that my holidays are coming up and Holidays = SHOPPING!!! :D I am in desperate need of the smell of new clothes , and I have a wishlist, a really really long one ( wich I wil partly share with you guys in one of my next posts)

I am moving in a few months and my room there will have a built in closet (YAAAAAAAAAYYYYY!!!!!!) with a huge mirror (double YAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYY!!!!!) so I will have to fill up that space ( wich I don't really mind.

I have discovered a new kind of nailart (I'm sure that for a lot of you this isn't even new, but let's just ignore that fact) : colour block nails! :D let me know if you want a DIY for this ;)

Nagelbijten

Vele mensen zullen het wel kennen: nagelbijten , ik ben er zelf nu ongeveer een half jaartje mee gestopt en hier vertel ik jullie hoe je dat kan doen:

1. Hou jezelf bezig, dat werkt écht, vaak bijt je namelijk op je nagels omdat je je verveelt.
2. vraag je vrienden om erop te letten en je erop te wijzen als je weer eens aan het nagelbijten bent, vaak doe je dat namelijk zonder dat je het weet.
3. Lak je nagels, verzorg ze goed, zorg ervoor dat je ze mooi vindt, dan heb je minder de neiging om te bijten omdat het dan je mooie nagellak verpest...
4. Beloon jezelf als het je gelukt is om bv. een maand niet op je nagels te bijten :)
5. Er bestaat speciale nagellak met een vieze smaak, waardoor je het nagelbijten vanzelf wel laat!:)

...al is dit vast ook niet de bedoeling :

Als het op make-up aankomt heb ik 2 verslavingen : Nagellak en lippenstift .
Toen ik naar engeland ging vorige week zag ik in de (tax free en dus goedkopere) shop op de boot OPI nagellak voor 7.50 pond HALELUJAH! ik besloot dan ook om me an de OPI-shatter nailpolish te wagen , hier is het resultaat, TADAAAAA:

Maar eerst wil ik jullie een nieuwe blogger voorstellen : Anne!
Anne is een geweldige vriendin van mij en we gaan dan ook, vaak samen shoppen ( wat we trouwens al veel te lang niet meer hebben gedaan dus Anne, als je dit leest, we moeten DRINGEND nog eens gaan shoppen :)).
