Vintage School bag

Zoals jullie in mijn vorige post al konden lezen ben ik dol op vintage! Deze tas vond ik op de Tongerse vlooienmarkt en ik werd er meteen stapelverliefd op. Voor 35 euro (echt leer! :D) was hij van mij en ik denk erover om hem effectief als schooltas te gebruiken.

As you could all read in my previous post, I love vintage! I found this bag at the flea market I talked about and immediately fell in love with it. For only 35 euros (real leather... bargain!) it was mine and I'm seriousely thinking about using it as my school bag next semester.

Tongeren Flea Market / Vlooienmarkt

Ik hou van tweedehands!!! Voila, het is eruit. Tweedehands spullen hebben een énorme aantrekkingskracht op mij. Ik hou van de geur en look van spullen die al een leven achter zich hebben. alles wat tweedehands is heeft een verhaal en dat spreekt me énorm aan.
In Tongeren, de stad waar ik woon, vindt iedere zondag de grootste antiekmarkt van de benelux plaats (who said Tongeren wasn't cool?). Ik besef dat het woord "antiek" misschien wat kan afschrikken, maar dat is enkel de benaming. "Tweedehandsmarkt" zou veel meer op zijn plaats zijn. Ik ben er vandaag geweest en ik heb, speciaal voor jullie ( graag gedaan hoor) enkele foto's gemaakt.

I love secondhand/ vintage stuff!!! There, I said it! I love the look and feel of well loved things. things that have already got an entire life behind them. Every single secondhand thing has got a story and that fact just appeals to me for some reason. Luckily, every sunday there's a flea market in my hometown (the biggest one of the BeNeLux, that is.) where I have already spent quite some hours in my life. Today, I went to the flea market for a visit and of course I HAD to bring my camera along ;-)

Kjell Bracke

Ik zou mezelf wel "voor de kop kunnen slaan", zoals we dat hier zeggen, omdat ik deze mooie dame nooit eerder heb ontdekt. Ik heb het over topmodel en "sidekick" van beautyblogger Sabine Peeters in het Vijf-programma "Shoot", Kjell Bracke. Kjell is 27 jaar oud, absoluut "gorgeous" en 100% vlaams. Ze heeft een speciale, unieke look waar ik helemaal fan van ben (en ook wel een ietsiepietsie jaloers op ben).

I should be very much ashamed of the fact that I had never heard of this pretty lady. I am talking about topmodel and sidekick of beautyblogger Sabine Peeters in the tv-show "shoot", Kjell Bracke. Kjell is 27 years old, absolutely gorgeous and 100% flemish. She has a special, unique look, of whick I am a huge fan (and which I envy a lot!).

Cara Delevigne

Hallo, Allemaal! Mijn internet doet het weer (na anderhalve week). Ik moet zeggen, zo een tijd zonder (fatsoenlijk) internet kan wel verfrissend zijn. Maar nu heb ik dus geen excuus meer om niet te bloggen wat betekent dat jullie weer wat meer updates kunnen verwachten in de komende paar dagen/weken/maanden.

Hello everyone! My internet is working again (after two weeks!). I do have to say, spending some time without a (decent) internetconnection can be refreshing. But I no longer have an excuse not to blog which means that you can expect a lot more updates the next few days/weeks/months.

Maar vandaag ga ik het met jullie hebben over éénvan mijn persoonlijke stijl- en lifeiconen. Cara Delevigne! Cara is absoluut mijn favoriete topmodel van deze tijd. Ze deed al campagnes voor Moschino, Oscar de la Renta, Burberry enzovoort... carrièregewijs iemandom in de gaten te houden! Maar ook haar stijl nààst de catwalk is het bekijken waard. Niet omdat al haar outfits zo geslaagd zijn (dat zijn ze niet altijd), maar vooral omdat ze durft! Ze is niet bezig met wat anderen over haar denken en dat is bewonderenswaardig.

But today I'm going to talk to you about one of my personal style- and lifeicons. Cara Delevigne! She is absolutely my favourite topmodel these days. She did campagnes for Moschino, Oscar de la Renta, Burberry and so on... Carreerwise, she is definetely someone to keep an eye on, but also her style néxt to the catwalk is worth checking out. Not because all of her outfits are that great (because trust me, they aren't), but because she's got balls! She doesn't care about what others think about her and you've got to give her credit for that.

Zelfs deze sneakers zien er goed uit bij de mooie Cara.

Deze outfit is nu niet echt geweldig, maar de afzonderlijke kledingstukken zijn echt wel leuk (behalve de laarzen, sorry, Cara , maar die zijn gewoon écht niet mooi). Het vestje lijkt me echt leuk om een sobere outfit op te leuken en met die shorts en t-shirt kan ze weinig misdoen.

This outfit is not really that great, but the clothing pieces on their own actually are very nice (except for the boots. I'm sorry, Cara, but please, burn them). The vest seems nice to spice up a simple outfit and she can't really go wrong with that top and those shorts.

Over deze outfit kan ik echt niets verkeerds zeggen... LOVE IT!

H&M Spring Wishlist

Ik ben een klein beetje H&M-verslaafd. ik kàn gewoon niet langs een H&M lopen zonder er binnen te gaan en ik vind er altijd wel iets dat "nog ontbrak in mijn kast" of "echt geweldig zou staan op die ene broek". Zo liep ik ook gisteren weer vertrouwde H&M binnen en zag daar een hoop leuke dingen die meteen op mijn wishlist komen!!!!!

I am slightly obsessed with H&M. I just never manage to pass an H&M without going in. I just can't! Also, when I'm in H&M , I always see something that "was missing in my closet" or "would look amazing paired with that certain pair of jeans". Yesterday , I went to my personal heaven and saw some amazing things that went straight to my wishlist!!!!!!

Als je deze post leest heb ik dit shirt waarschijnlijk al gekocht, ik ga morgen namelijk even snel naar de H&M met een vriendin, enkel en alleen om deze blouse te kopen. Ik werd er meteen verliefd op toen ik hem zag en als ze hem niet meer in mijn maat hebben, ga ik echt huilen.

When you are reading this post, I have probably already bought this shirt. Tomorrow  I'm going to H&M with a friend, JUST to buy this blouse. I fell in love with it the second I saw it and if my size is sold out, I swear I'm going to cry.

Ik zit met een enorm dilemma: ik weet niet welke van deze twee broeken ik ga kopen!!!!! Ik vind ze allebei erg leuk en beide kleuren zijn geweldig voor winter én lente... zucht, keuzestress!

I am stuck with a massive dilemma: I don't know which one of these trousers I should buy!!!! I like both of them and both colours are amazing for winter AND spring....sigh, Can't choose!!!!!!!

Ook deze broek is een item dat ik sowieso ga kopen. Ik zoek al jaren naar een mooie "distressed" broek,maar de meeste broeken in dat genre zijn té baggy en dat is niet erg flattueus, maar deze is lekker skinny. PERFECT

This is another item I am definetely going to buy. I have been looking for a pair of distressed jeans for years, but most pairs in that range are just too baggy, which is not very flattering? But this pair is very skinny. PERFECT

Dit is een jasje dat ik ook zeer leuk vind, maar waarschijnlijk aan mijn neus voorbij zal laten gaan aangezien ik al een soortgelijk jasje heb...jammer!

This is a jacket that I really like, But I don't think I'll buy it since I have already got a jacket in this style...Too bad!

Dit jurkje ziet er heel mooi uit op de foto, maar is echt zo'n "je moet het passen" jurkje. Bij sommige mensen staat het waarschijnlijk heel leuk, bij anderen niet...hope for the best!

This dress looks beautiful on the model, but it really is the kind of dress you have to try on to see if it suits you...let's hope for the best!!

And of course ,you all know me. My wishlist would not be complete without a pretty nailpolish...sparkly!!!

Nivea lip butter

Yaaaay! Another Lip Product I'm loving!! Yesterday , I wrote about the h&m lipbalm from the latest collection , and today I will share another one of my current loves with the world ;)

The Nivea Lip Butter comes in a cute little tin , the same kind of tin the regular nivea blue-pot cream comes in, Basic , but nice ;) I do prefer sticks , though, since you always have to use your (dirty) fingers in tins like these.

The lip Butter smells like vanilla , which I love!!!!!! I can't stop smelling it ! 

But the most important question is of course : "Does it work?".

Well, it DOES! it is absolutely awesome!!!! it leaves my lips superdupersoft throughout the entire day!!!

Current Love : H&M lipbalm !

Oh my oh my ! I love Lipbalms , and I discovered an amazing new one!!!!!

This chubby H&M lipbalm does everything a lip balm should do , it's very moisturizing and not too sticky . Your lips will stay soft as silk for hours !!!!!!!

handcream for chapped lips?

Ik heb een absoluut wondermiddel ontdekt!! Handcrème ! Ik hoor je denken "ja, tuurlijk, lekker boeiend" maar ik gebruik handcrème zowel op mijn handen als op mijn LIPPEN. Handcrème is extreem voedend en dus perfect voor "kapotte" lippen . Het heeft misschien niet zo'n leuk kleurtje/geurtje/smaakje als een lippenbalsem, maar het werkt! Probeer het maar eens als je me niet gelooft. Ik kan niet meer zonder.

I discovered an amazing product : handcreme ! I know it may sound slightly stupid, but I use handcream on my hands and on my LIPS! Handcreme is extremely moisturizing which makes it perfect for chapped lips. It may not have an amazing colour, scent , flavour as a regular lipbalm, but it WORKS! Try it if you don't believe me! I wouldn't know what to do without it anymore!

Rok en Rol

Ik heb het allerleukste televisieprogramma ooit ontdekt!!!!!!! Het heet Rok en Rol en is helemaal geweldig!! Het is een soort van DIY-programma , gepresenteerd door de supercreatieve Karolien Verbanck. Ze maakt heerlijke desserts, prachtige spulletjes en customized simpele kledij tot pronkstukken . Mijn mama zei laatst toen we samen aan het kijken waren "Dat is echt de oudere versie van jou, Evi" . En eigenlijk  heeft ze gelijk! Ik ben zelf ook altijd bezig met dingen (ver)maken ,customizen en ik verzin de raarste snacks en voedselcombinaties (warme chocolademelk met speculoospasta en Nutella..Anyone?). Karolien is nu al ongeveer een maand mijn absolute idool. Ik zit elke dag om half negen trouw voor mijn televisie en heb een naaimachine bovenaan mijn verlanglijstje gezet!

I'm Pretty sure the Lookbookfans here will know this wonderful lady! her blog is named "They Call Me Redhead" and reading it is like stepping into wonderland. I love her dreamy style and personality. She writes (amazing) poems ànd she can sing! This young lady is worth checking out. I am a huge fan of her overknee socks, creepers and A-MA-ZING jumpers. Check her out!

Ralph Fiennes

Well, I am The kind of girl who Gets obsessed with certain people , mostly actors, and then I'm not talking about the boyish cute , good looking "dudes" like Zac Efron (who I like , don't get me wrong) , but the real great actors . I have been a fan of Liam Neeson and also went through an Alan Rickman fase. But these days I'm obsessed with Lord Voldemort a.k.a He who must not be named a.k.a Ralph Fiennes (pronounced ; reyf fines ) .This man is definitely one of the most talented people ever born (along with Meryl Streep of course ) . His impression of Lord Voldemort was amazing, but his performances in "The English Patient" and "Shindler's List" are very Impressive as well !!
So if you didn't know him already (shame on you), check This man out, it's definitely worth it !

Ps : he may be 50 years old, he doesn't look bad ;) check out those Eyes !!!

To wear or not to wear ...

I love overknees , I really really do, but I just Cant Find An appropriate way to wear them,I guess , but what IS appropriate anyway, maybe I should just pull out a black skirt and rock them !

Hello everyone!
well, last time I blogged, it was still very hot over here, but now Fall/Autumn is just around the corner , Yaaaay!! fall means new fashion and new fashion means new inspiration for me! :D
